Cosmetic Surgery
With the different body model sliders and choices in Street Fighter 6, players can make almost anyone. Body size, shape, sex, and other things are all up to the person. But even after all of that, the avatar’s face can still look pretty boring without some tweaking. The buttons on the face can be used to make sure that these features are just right.
People who have played Saints Row or WWE games are probably familiar with it, but careful thought about the size and shape of the nose, the distance between and shape of the cheeks, etc., can make the difference between an average image and the perfect player character. Just put the right numbers into them, and they will be ready to go.
Image Training
If a player is making a character who has already been seen in other games in the series or other media, it can be hard to get them right just from memory. Mike Haggar from Final Fight is a big muscleman with a big beard, which everyone knows. So are Jesse Ventura, Hulk Hogan, Freddie from Cromartie High School, and other people who are like him in real life.
Since this is the case, it might help to have a picture of the figure on hand to use as a guide when adjusting their size. So, they can look more like the figure and stand out even more. This is more for players who want to go all out with their character, but it can be fun to see how SF6 makes anime or comic book characters look in the game.
Fit The Body To The Fighting Style
Think about how big or small the figure will be and how that will change how they play. It doesn’t matter too much because the player can learn the moves of everyone else on the team, no matter how big or small they are. Someone could be as big as Marisa but move like Lily, or the other way around.
But bigger people are easy to hit. Without protection moves, opponents can easily stop them in the middle of a move with a strong poke. On the other hand, small figures won’t have enough weight to stun or hurt them. When the character is ready to go out on the streets, it’s best to find teachers to learn the right moves that will make them a force to be reckoned with.
Long Limbs For Big Wins
Giving the character long arms is a quick way to make them strong. They won’t break the game, but they will give the player character a little edge over the Mad Gear goons and other mooks. For example, Lily isn’t very high on the tier list (for now), but if you give her spinning war club moves to someone with more reach, they become a bigger threat to people who might want to fight them.
The same is true for legs and the different kicks in Happy Wheels game. With enough experience, Juri and Chun-Li are already very strong. If someone with more reach took their best moves, that would be even worse. Still, no matter how far the player can reach, all of these moves still take skill. So, no matter how good a Bayonetta model looks, the person will still need to practice.
Makeup Or Break Up
Even after all of that, the character might not look quite right. Maybe the hair and eyes are different, or the skin structure isn’t quite right. This can be fixed with the settings for the features. Players can use makeup to make their character’s face smoother or to make certain traits stand out with different colors.
Fletchyboyo on Reddit, for example, made a good-looking version of Genos from One Punch Man by smoothing out the face, changing the color of the eyes and sclera, and painting the body to look like Saitama’s robot protege. Players can also choose from two different colors for their hair. Unfortunately, the game only lets players choose natural skin colors. This means that while players can make Urien, they can’t make Gill, who has red and blue skin.
Save Time With Presets Or Recipes
In the end, there are shortcuts for players who just want to make a character as quickly as possible or get the best model without having to mess with the settings and features directly. There are already set sizes that players can choose from to make a custom character quickly and in one step. Even better, players can put recipe codes for their unique characters on the web so that other people can download them.
Players can do this by entering their code on the Download Recipe tab. They will then get the model they want right away. There are already a lot of models to choose from, like Genos, Kratos from God of War, Daenerys from Game of Thrones, The Terminator, and more. All you have to do is find their codes, which aren’t hard to do.
