Halloween is an important time of the year when not only kids but also adults are excited to dress up and attend parties with different scary and spooky characters. Pão-por-Deus from Portugal

It is one of the popular Portuguese Halloween baking dishes also known as bread of God. It is a small round ball which is fluffy and filled with coconut. It is generally eaten on All Saints Day on 1st November. They are a batter with a splash of rum, lemon juice and vanilla. It is the main dish of track and treating in Portugal.

It is also known as Beans of the Dead because they look over in shape and chewy Halloween biscuits. They are also eaten on 2 November by native Italian families. It is made up of almond Pine nuts lemon juice cinnamon to savour your mouth with water.

Barmbrack of Ireland

The freshly baked barmbrack is an Irish Halloween treat filled all over the Island. They are quick and easy to prepare with a particular traditional loaf field with raisins and Sultanas. They are enjoyed with a lot of butter and cuppa. You can put any object into the loaf as a gift so it is also a nice game to choose your slice carefully.

Huesos de Santo of Spain

This Spanish Halloween treat is translated into holy bones and eaten on the day of saints all over Spain. They have a variety of fillings and syrup over them. They are soft outside and juicy inside.

Candy Apples of States

The United States has been well known for their Apple candy which is generally known as toffee Apple in the United Kingdom. The sugar-coated sticky mixed with corn syrup water food coloring and cinnamon is like an apple dressing beautifully.

Pan de muerto of Mexico

It is a Halloween traditional bread prepared specially for Día de Muertos Day of the Dead. It is a soft bread roll which is also sweet. The name of bread translates into bread of the dead and it is usually eaten next to the loved one’s grave celebrating their achievement and love in life. Decoration can be of bone shape.

Bonfire toffee of the United Kingdom

It is a traditional Halloween sweet of the United Kingdom and is also eaten on Guy Fawkes Night. They are prepared with butter, sugar and black treacle. You can prepare them from scratch with a sheet used to break up the big chunk of toffee.
